Additional Information
Thinking of settling down for a long winter’s nap? Well, think again! This winter Garth Newel is spicing up winter with something completely different: concerts in a pub setting. And you are invited!
Our own Herter Hall will be transformed into a pub, allowing you to sit within arm's-length of the musicians, or at tables with friends. Drinks and pub snacks will be served prior to the concert. Concerts will include mini-intermissions where you can refresh your drinks and replenish snacks. With the breaks built into the music-making, the focus will be on the music during the performance, but the opportunity to visit with our marvelous musicians will come after the music stops, and the featured food and drink are served.
Sound enticing? There’s more: Garth Newel’s Pub Series concerts are free! There’s no charge to enter, though we advise reserving your free ticket in advance. There will be a cash bar, and instrument cases will be open to receive your appreciative dollars (credit card numbers or checks, too!), just like a real pub.
So, beat the winter blues, enjoy a night out at the pub here at Garth Newel, and join us for a New Year musical adventure!
