Florian Werner, author of the critically acclaimed Cow: A Bovine Biography (forthcoming from Greystone Press, 2011) teaches a 'boetry' workshop - that is, a workshop on how to write bovine poetry (and prose).  Participants will learn how to write odes in praise of the beauty of cows, how to create sound poems about steers and oxen, how to compose a contemporary cowboy song and will find out what became of the ever-elusive "Purple Cow".
