Garth Newel Music Center offers a number of educational programs throughout the year.
young artists fellowship Program
Each summer, a group of talented young musicians from top music schools & conservatories, ages 18-26, compete to spend 4 weeks at Garth Newel Music Center studying chamber music and performing throughout the local area, culminating in a final performance in Herter Hall.

Allegheny Mountain String Project
Garth Newel Music Center sponsors a project to reach the communities of Bath, Alleghany & Highland Counties with the opportunity to learn a string instrument.

Adult Amateur Chamber Music Retreat
What could be more enjoyable! Spend a weekend at Garth Newel playing chamber music with friends. Receive daily coachings, and enjoy the fun and fellowship of kindred musical souls!
